K-Dur-20 100(1500mg) Capsules - For Low Potassium Levels Manufacturer: Schering Pharmaceuticals K-Dur-20 (Potassium Chloride) is used to treat and prevent low potassium levels. This is especially necessary for people who have lost potassium caused by taking various medications that eliminate potassium and certain diseases. Potassium is essential to maintain certain body functions such as kidneys, muscles, and nerves. Potassium deficiencies can have adverse effects on the human body including dry mouth, thirst, drowsiness, weakness, fatigue, reduced urine, low blood pressure, muscle cramps, nausea, vomiting, and restlessness.
