製造元： アポテックスコーポレーション メタフォルミン（メタフォリン・ハイドロクロライド錠）は、タイプ2糖尿病の治療に使われます。 正しく服用すれば、体内の血糖値を制御することができます。 メタフォルミン（グルコファージ）は1958年、フランスの薬剤師ジャン・アロンにより開発されました。 人間の体にインシュリンを増産させるのではなく、体が自ら持っているインシュリンに反応するのを助けるようにしました。 患者の必要に応じた量を経口で服用することによって治療できることを明らかにしたジーン・スターン医師の手助けを得て、メタフォルミン（グルコファージ）は1960年フランスで承認されました。 1962年には、メタフォルミン（グルコファージ）は米国を除いた世界に広まりました。 1995年なって、米国での承認も受けました。 同年メタフォルミン（グルコファージ）は、糖尿病治療薬として最も売れた薬となりました。 この薬は、患者の必要に応じた量を服用することになっています。 正常な血糖値を維持するために必要な最少の量を服用して下さい。 服用法： 朝500ｍｇ錠を1錠服用します。 まず、1錠の服用からはじめ、血糖値をはかり薬を増やすべきかどうか確認して下さい。 もし、服用を増やす必要があるのであれば、夕食時にもう1錠を服用して下さい。 通常服用量は、1日1500ｍｇ（500mgを3錠）です。 1日2500ｍｇ（5錠）を超えて服用してはいけません。 服用するときは、必ず食事と一緒に服用して下さい。 内容量： メタフォルミン 500mg 100タブレット 密封容器入り

In the same year, Metaformin(Glucophage) became the number one best selling medication for controlling Diabetes. Since this medication can be given in different amounts depending upon the persons needs, the idea is to find the lowest possible amount required to maintain a normal blood sugar level. Directions: Start with one
tablet of 500mg every morning. Continue to test blood sugar levels to
determine if more medication is necessary. If more is needed, increase by
taking another 500mg tablet at dinner. The usual amount of medication that
