Renova 0.05% Cream (20g)
Healthy skin is most certainly a major concern of all people. In the United States alone, over 33 million visits were paid to dermatologists. Though special care will definitely assist in the skin aging process, wrinkles, age spots, and discolorations, will occur naturally. Renova Cream does not eliminate wrinkles or repair sun-damaged skin, nor is there evidence that Renova treats coarse skin, deep wrinkles, skin yellowing or other skin problems. Like most treatment products, the effectiveness of Renova is very dependent on proper skin care practices including avoiding direct sunlight, applying sunscreens, wearing protective clothing and using moisturizing lotions. Renova is not a cover-up cream, but rather a potent medicine that effectively causes smoother skin with fewer wrinkles and fewer brown spots and helps to fade stretch marks. People who use Renova will notice improvements with fine wrinkles, spotty skin discoloration, and rough skin gradually over time. Most results are achieved within three to four months, with the most appreciable effects at about six months. Federal Drug Administration (FDA) Approval: January 2, 1996 Side Effects: Using Renova Cream can cause mild redness, stinging, itching, burning, skin scaling, peeling and dry skin within the first several weeks. Drug Interactions: Please inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following products: isotretinoin, amiodarone, tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, sulfa-drugs or phenothiazines as they increase skin sensitivity to the sun. Also avoid using minoxidil, other skin medications, soaps, cleansers, cosmetics, astringents or any facial products that may be drying or irritating. Benzoyl peroxide should not be applied at the same time as this medication is used. Directions: Apply a small amount of cream to clean, dry skin on the
face before bedtime every night. Be extremely careful to avoid contact with
the eyes, nostrils and mouth. Cover the affected skin areas lightly. Wash
hands thoroughly after use. Do not use this product more often than
prescribed. Greater and more frequent use will not produce faster or better
results. Do not use on sunburn or eczema or other serious skin conditions.
